On Tuesday 29/9/09 at 19.00 there will take place an open discussion concerning the theatrical play in the frame of the space for children at Micropolis, in order to share ideas, designings and materials for the realization of the theater lab for children.

Presentation text for the Space for Children at Micropolis

This text is an attempt for the beginning of a dialogue; it does not replace direct communication; on the contrary, it aims at it. We want to create conditions that would encourage the expression and communication between two worlds: the children’s and the adults’. The way in which the children of today are being brought up reflects the society of the future, thus “we have no right to tell our children how to build their future, since we were proved inadequate to make our own present”1.

27/9/09 Opening of the Space for Children at Micropolis

On Sunday 27/9/09 at 1pm the space for children at Micropolis (on the 1st floor) starts functioning. This first meeting will include : creative activities, clown happenings, eating, free play, and an open discussion.

27/9/09 Theater Lab Lessons

The lessons in the frame of the Theater Lab at Micropolis begin on Sunday 27/9/09 and they will take place twice a week on the 3rd floor of Micropolis, in two groups:
Wednesday 4pm-7pm and 7pm-10pm and
Sunday 4pm-80m and 80m-12am

The groups will stay open to new participants untill 25/10/09

25/9/09 Discussion about the Space for Children at Micropolis

On Friday 25 September at 18.00 there will take place an open discussion concerning the function of the Space for Children at Micropolis which will be co-managed by children, parents and pedagogues.

25/9/09 Open assembly against the elections

The Antiautoritarian Movement of Thessaloniki calls for an open assembly themed "campaign against the elections", which will take place at Micropolis on Friday 25/9/09 at 20.00.

23/9/09 Opening of the Theater Lab at Micropolis

On Wednesday 23/9/09 at 20.00 there will take place the first lesson in the frame of the new Theater Lab at Micropolis. Whoever is interested in participating, can find us on the 3rd floor of Micropolis (Vanizelou & Vas. Irakleiou 18).
The Theater Lab groups will stay open to new participants untill 25/10.
